1. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You will receive an email or SMS confirmation once your order has been dispatched.

2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to most locations across India. Certain remote or restricted areas may not be serviceable. If we are unable to deliver to your location, we will notify you promptly and issue a full refund.

3. Estimated Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines vary based on your location:

  • Metro Cities (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune): 3–5 business days
  • Tier 2 & Tier 3 Cities: 5–8 business days
  • Remote or Rural Areas: 7–12 business days

These are estimated timelines and may vary due to factors such as courier delays, weather conditions, public holidays, or high-demand periods (e.g., festive seasons).

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase. We may offer free shipping on orders above a certain order value, which will be communicated on our website from time to time.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email or SMS. You can use this tracking number to monitor the status of your delivery through the courier partner's website or tracking portal. If you face any issues with tracking, please contact us at dillicart.com.

6. Cash on Delivery (COD)

We may offer Cash on Delivery (COD) as a payment option for eligible orders and locations. Please note:

  • A COD handling fee may be applicable and will be shown at checkout.
  • Please ensure someone is available at the delivery address to accept and pay for the order.
  • If a COD order is not accepted at the time of delivery, it will be returned to us and you may be restricted from placing future COD orders.

7. Failed Delivery Attempts

Our courier partners typically make up to 3 delivery attempts. If delivery is unsuccessful due to an incorrect address, customer unavailability, or refusal to accept the package, the order will be returned to us. In such cases:

  • For prepaid orders: A refund will be processed after deducting forward and reverse shipping charges.
  • For COD orders: No refund is applicable as payment was not collected.

8. Incorrect Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate and complete at the time of placing your order. DilliCart is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If you notice an error in your address, contact us immediately at dillicart.com before the order is dispatched.

9. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please contact us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date with your order details and photographs (if applicable). We will investigate the matter and arrange a replacement or refund as appropriate.

10. Delays Beyond Our Control

DilliCart is not liable for shipping delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions, or government restrictions. We will do our best to keep you informed in such situations.

DilliCart reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page.
